NEWS:
LOCAL charities benefited to the tune of £5,600 after the Rotary Club of Aylesbury presented the cheques at a special dinner in January 2009. They also thanked the charities for their work in the community.
The cheque presentations were made possible as a result of money received from the public at Christmas through the Rotary Christmas carol float collections.
These charities included:
- Air Ambulance
- Gateway Club
- Friends of Stoke Mandeville Hospital
- Aylesbury Diabetics
- Mandeville School Association
- Rotary Foundation for international relief
- Scouts
- Guides
- Aylesbury Motor Project
- Stoke Mandeville Eye Unit Appeal
